This popular meeting space for locals was founded over 10 years ago and is known for their delectable paninis, cheesecakes, scones, muffins and, of course, their coffee!

This place takes coffeehouse to the next level. Not only can you get a great cup of coffee (and with a cute design on top), but you can get a full lunch or dinner meal - from paninis to soups to cheese/meat boards to flatbread. And you can start your meal with coffee and end it with a wine flight, or vice versa.

- BENTON STREET BAKERY CAFE, Crete
Here you can get both savory and sweet. Have a healthy loaded salad or a club sandwich and then finish off with a slice of cheesecake, tiramisu, a cinnamon roll or a cannoli. It’s all about balance!
- CALUMET BAKERY, Lansing
This bakery dates back to 1935 and bakes a number of sweet treats, from doughnuts to nutrolls to breads to custom cakes.

It feels like Valentine’s Day every day when you step into this old-school candy shop where you can slide into a booth and have an ice cream treat and then purchase a box of their famous chocolate covered strawberries to take home for later.
